I remember growing up my grandma and grandpa would read me a roald dahl books to me every week when I went there for sleepovers. I was always inspired by his illustrations and writings that when I finally learnt how to read and write in high school I would make stories in the same vain. My english teacher would always tell me that my stories would remind me of his stories. but I eventually stopped writing stories and started drawing. for a long time I didn’t have a style and was getting bored of drawing cause it was getting way to complicated. but now I have started drawing simpler and also making 3d models for art. but my hand drawing since getting simpler has been turning into a more roald dahl kinda look. so I’ve just been naturally drawing in this style cause its way more enjoyable for me, and I’ve been drawing tradionally now. made this as a little nod to him… even though its not christmas XD.
